Week 1 Day 5: The Fit & Sexy Summer Challenge

As usual, not mine, just found it on Google.

Oh yes, I did.
Well not enough serious ass, but still. :D

Welcome to Week 1 Day 5 of The Fit & Sexy Summer Challenge!

When I woke up this morning, I have a cramp on my butt from last night's workout. And as I have done a lot in the past whenever I start trying to be fit, I seriously considered not going to the gym because of this and that...

In the end, I did get up and prepared to go to my second CrossFit Boot Camp session. Hell yes! ^_^ I first went to the office because I leave my gym bag under my workstation. As soon as I arrived at the office, checked some stuff for work first, ate a banana then proceeded to change into my workout clothes and it's all black today. Reminded me of that saying I read a while back that implies wearing black while working out is like holding a funeral for your fats.

Breakfast:
1 large banana
1 cup Milo

Then started the 600+ meters of walking to CrossFit MNL. I guess that counts as additional warm-up. There are a lot of people today, about more than ten I think. As usual we did a lot of squats.

During the first exercise, I was paired with a girl named Mercy. She was friendly and she cheered me on when it was my turn to do the squats. :)

It didn't take long for my legs to start aching again but I did try my best to cover 4 out of 5 rounds of the last exercise. I did modify the workout a bit, I couldn't lift the plate while doing the squat any more so the coach allowed me to just do the squats without the plate.

One of the things I could barely do was a proper push-up. I was doing it like a worm, seriously. I have to practice doing that and I really have to train my arms harder.

Lunch:
Beef Steak Rice Bowl
Puree of Mongo Soup

Dinner:
Pesto Pasta
1 stick Mediterranean Chicken Skewers

The beef steak is tasty, but as usual I didn't finish the rice, yey! :) The Pesto Pasta was not so good, it was very oily. Well I guess it was my mistake as well that I used up all the pesto sauce. With parmesan cheese and the chicken skewers stirred in, I was able to finish it. :D

Someone at the office bought a lot of JCO donuts and I was very sad that I cannot eat a whole donut. My boyfriend gave me one small bite though. :D
